Evolution of the Finnish Public Safety Network
Finland is taking another step forward on the path towards Mission Critical Broadband service Virve 2.0.
Erillisverkot has today published RFI for VIRVE#2 broadband devices. The answers are expected from any relevant stakeholders by mid-October. The publication of the first findings are planned to be published during TCCA’s Critical Communications Week program on Thursday the 5th of November.
This type of broadband device RFI may be the first of its kind in the world thus Erillisverkot very humbly wish to receive feedback to be able to set a baseline for national need as well as for others to use.
