BroadWay concludes its briefing event on the request for tender
Following the launch of its request for tender on 19 February 2019, the BroadWay PCP team conducted two briefing events to assist potential suppliers through the tendering process: a webinar on March 15th, and a marketbriefing event on March 26th 2019; the latter taking place at the headquarters of the Belgian Federal Police in Brussels. Overall, 45 unique suppliers joined the RFT briefings.
A special feature of the 26 March briefing event was the introductory speech by Mr Andrea de Candido (Deputy Head of Unit industrial policy and security research at DG HOME), who remarked on the impressive response generated by suppliers. In addition, potential suppliers were given a platform to briefly present on their companies’ core competencies. Both briefing events were otherwise identical in content. Suppliers were briefed on the BroadWay project’s core objectives followed by more precise information relating to the tender submission, the technical evaluation and the evaluation criteria.
The recent briefing event in Brussels was very interactive in nature and allowed suppliers to raises further questions and build networks/consortia. All briefing material (including audio/video recording, presentation slides, question and answers) are available here.
